Public Relations Manager

And Cisco is leading the experience.This position on Cisco’s Collaboration Portfolio Public Relations team will manage a variety of technologies and outreach to business and technology media. The successful candidate will be creative, with the ability to translate complex, technology concepts into compelling stories. Candidate must have strong background in technology public relations, business media relations, and have established top-tier business press relationships. A understanding of collaboration technology and business fundamentals is essential, as well as experience with high-tech public relations campaigns and product launches. Specific responsibilities include: - Partnering with technology groups and marketing to drive high-impact public relations campaigns;- Developing messaging & positioning and communicating these effectively to rally support among peers and senior management;- Keeping informed of competitive issues and contributing to the management of those issues in the media;- Work extensively with business/general/trade media community to build out Cisco’s profile in collaboration technology areas;- Maintain positive news coverage of Cisco’s business, strategy, products and services;- Partner with new media team to drive online presence and champion new areas for outreach;- Providing strategic communications counsel and advice to internal partners.Skills needed to be considered:- 7-10 Years of High-Tech PR Experience- Technology and Business Media Relations Experience-Excellent writing and communications skillsIdeal candidate will have corporate public relations background with solid analytical skills, as well as experience that demonstrates sound judgment and good instincts. Candidate will manage multiple long-term and short-term projects simultaneously, and possess strong organizational, follow up, communications and leadership skills. Candidate must be a team player, with an ability to lead by influence and build consensus. Creativity and risk taking a plus. This position requires excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. Consumer technology experience required. BA required. 7-10 years related experience.

Compensation Manager - RTP

This position will fill a critical role within Cisco's Compensation & Benefits organization and will be responsible for:- managing Cisco's automated compensation solutions (Oracle and Workscape) and processes, - assessing current and future technology needs to support Cisco's evolving global business models, - designing processes and partnering with IT and Workscape to configure Oracle and/or Workscape in support of Cisco's strategies, and - project managing the implementation of Workscape and Oracle functionality and configuration while ensuring alignment with HR's application roll-out strategy. Additionally, the successful candidate will:- recommend company process and policy changes to leverage out-of-the-box functionality, minimize customization while achieving desired compensation program / plan objectives, and- pro-actively solicit input from key stakeholders including the Compensation COE, Business Aligned Compensation, HR PMO COE, Business Aligned PMO, Compensation Market

Intelligence, and Client-Facing HR to assess the effectiveness of current solutions and potential new business requirements.- develop and deliver presentations to stakeholders including executives to communicate and solicit input on Compensation's systems strategies, plans, and priorities- partner and consult with the HR PMO COE, Compensation COE, and IT on technology and implementation strategies to ensure the successful launch of Cisco's compensation programs - develop complex models to be leveraged by the Compensation and Benefits teams to design, model, and execute Cisco's Compensation plans, programs and strategies.- partner with Corporate Finance and other COE organizations to conduct complex modeling, costing, and reporting.

Manager Specific Requirements :
The successful candidate will have a total of 8-10 years demonstrated:- project management experience including the successfully on-time delivery of technology / automated solutions which meet business requirements - demonstrated experience assessing technology solutions, recommending and influencing technology strategy, and partnering with IT and vendors in the delivery of solutions- demonstrated experience partnering and consulting with stakeholders in the solicitation of business requirements, process and/or program execution strategies, and process / policy redesign in support of strategies- demonstrated ability to develop and deliver presentations to all levels of the organization including executives- effective written and verbal communication skills- demonstrated ability to develop complex models in Microsoft Excel and Access which may be utilized by other team members and stakeholders to conduct analysis, planning, and reporting- demonstrated ability conducting complex modeling to aide senior management in the development of alternatives, strategies, and programs.- bachelors degree in Computer Information Systems, Business Administration or other related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience
